15-min Starting Session
During 15 minutes phone consultation, I will answer any of your questions and, together, we'll decide if I am the right provider for you.
In-Depth Intake Consultation
1-hour video intake appointment during which I will listen to and evaluate your entire story, and will make suggestions for supplements, medications, and lifestyle changes that you can start right away. I will also provide you with a blood test order so we can look for nutritional deficiencies and potential root causes of your symptoms.
At the follow-up appointment, we will go over blood test results and modify your supplement and lifestyle regimen based on the lab results. We will come up with a timeline plan that would include lifestyle habits including diet, physical activity, sleep hygiene, and if appropriate meditation/mindfulness practices to support you on your quest for a more productive fulfilling life.
Conditions I do NOT Treat
I do not treat the following conditions which require a higher level of care than can be safely provided via telepsychiatry :
Schizophrenia or psychosis
Chronic Pain disorders
Alcohol or Substance Use
My practice does not provide Disability or Court Ordered Assessments
I do not treat children under 16 years old
I do NOT take any insurance in my practice which makes me an “out-of-network” provider.
However, if you have a PPO health insurance plan, you may be able to submit claims to your insurance company for reimbursement.
For each appointment you will receive a “super bill” with everything you should need to submit for reimbursement or for use with a flexible spending health savings account. You can put your HSA debit card on file and use it to pay for your sessions. You can also use it for tax deduction purposes.
If you are considering using your insurance benefits, please contact your insurance company prior to beginning treatment. Specifically, you may wish to inquire about:
Behavioral Health benefits
Coverage for out-of-network providers
Deductible for out-of-network providers
Any limitations on the number of visits covered per calendar year
